why gift giving is not just consumerism (and how to keep it from veering that way)<\/strong><\/h3><\/div>

As someone with significant neurodivergence, I have a special interest in learning about -and possibly streamlining the process of- anything to do with the human body.  For me that includes more specifically anatomy and physiology, sociology and of course- psychology.  When I found out there were helpful shortcuts to understanding how to conduct yourself with and around people you love- of course I wanted to know more.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Having grown up with low resources, gift giving has always been the love language I had to work at.  The following blog will enumerate some of the helpful tips and tricks I have picked up for gift making, plus introduce you to some of the really unique and meaningful gifts I have come across in many hours of research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For me personally, gift giving has a far more appealing dopamine payout than receiving. Yet I know from experience that when a person receives a gift that says \u201cI thought of you, specifically,\u201d everyone involved feels closer together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Infusing your gift selections with meaningful intent, and perhaps a touch of whimsy- will make the difference between mindless consumerism and an exchange of which the effects could last a lifetime.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
